MWOW Spring 2016 Lectures Poster Gateway Science Museum

Brief

Create a poster to promote the April lecture series “Paging Dr. Gross” at the Gateway Science Museum.

Concept

This poster required a curious combination of the sterile nature of the medical industry and the "gross" nature of the human body. The tricky part was maintaining the integrity of the medical field while still keeping it accessible to a broader audience. I chose a stark white background featuring a charicature of a stethiscope unmistakably represent modern medicine, then contrasted it with a round, playful title. I left the "gross" component to the color scheme, combining an unappealing pair of greens with a bright, shocking red.
